Nails: Disco Ball

I finally found a multi (chunky) glitter nail polish.
It's the Jewel FX from Milani in 530 Gems
I was so happy to finally get one but at the other hand I was a little concerned about the application, but it turned out super well.
The only bad thing about glitters are that they are super hard to take off.

Haul: Sigmax Brushes

I always get super exited when I receive something in the mail. This time it was my Sigma brushes.
Sigma had free shipping worldwide on Black Friday.
I couldn't pass that one since Shipping to Curacao is $30. WOW!
So I was like I need to get myself some brushes.
I was going to buy allot more brushes (of course the once I needed), but I ended getting only 2.

The reason I got only 2 was because it was my first time getting something from Sigma and I didn't want to be disappointed with like quality, shipping etc, even though 99% of their reviews are good.
So I got the Flat Kabuki - F80 and the Angled Kabuki - F84

Travel: My trip to Panama

I’m back from an awesome mini vacation there in Panama
I just love that place. This is my third time going there so I didn’t take much picture. Not only because of that but the drivers there drive super fast which makes all my pictures look blurry. The drivers there in Panama are crazyyyy. With crazy I mean they drive super duper fast and with absolutely no patience. I don’t know why ‘every’ driver there in Panama are like always in a hurry, but besides that it was great.

Never say never

Hey Dolls,
I'm super super super exited. Can you guess why????
Remember I posted in August i'm going to do the no buy challenge for 3 months?
Well I can say I did it, besides the nail polishes I bought in August.
I never knew I would accomplish this no buy project.
It was super hard, I'm not going to lie. When I go out I was avoiding places where I know I would buy anything make up related. But at the end it's all about being strong and don't fall for temptation.

What I learn from this is to be more conscious when it comes to buying make up.
For example; if I know I have a black eyeliner i really don't need to get another one until I finish the one I already have etc. But also appreciate what I already have and by actually using them not only once or twice.

Now that I accomplish this no buy project i really don't feel the urge to go all out with make up like I did before or buy just to buy. I now take time and ask my self: "do I really need this?" like in the movie shopaholic.

P.S.: I didn't even buy clothes (WOW , I'm super impressed and proud of myself)

Choosing the right eye makeup: wide-set eyes

Determining eye shape is just as important as choosing the right colors for your coloring. Depending on the shape of your eyes you should choose different colors and ways of applying eye makeup. Learn how to determine eye shape and apply eye makeup for each eye shape.

If the space between the inside corners of eyes is wider than the width of one eye, you have wide-set eyes. So your aim is to reduce the space between the eyes to make your eyes look close together. To bring eyes closer together, you should emphasize the inner corners by using darker colors in the inner corners.

- Reduce the space between the eyes by applying dark eyeshadow in the inner corner.
- Apply the lighter eyeshadow to the outer two-thirds of the lid from lashline to browbone.
- Use eyeliner to draw a very thin line from inner to outer corners on both upper and lower lids.
- Pencil eyebrows a little closer to the nose. Don't extend eyebrows out at the ends

Check my previous post: Close-set eyes

Choosing the right eye makeup: close-set eyes

Determining eye shape is just as important as choosing the right colors for your coloring. Depending on the shape of your eyes you should choose different colors and ways of applying eye makeup. Learn how to determine eye shape and apply eye makeup for each eye shape these upcoming days.
Close-set eyes

If the space between the inner corners of your eyes is shorter than the width of one eye, you have close-set eyes. So your aim is to make your eyes look further apart. To create the illusion of width, you should emphasize the outer corners

- Apply light eye shadow from the inner corner of your eye to the middle of your eyelid (from lashes to brow bone) to widen the space between the eyes. Keep small highlight color in the inner corner of the eye.
- Extend the darker eye shadow to the outer corner of your eye from lashline to brow bone.
- Use the most intense color of eye shadow in the outer corner.
- Use eyeliner to draw a very thin line along the upper eyelashes. To bring the attention to the outer edge of the eye thus making your eyes appear further apart, apply eyeliner so that it becomes thicker near the outer corner of your eyes (both top and bottom). You should draw the line as close to the lashes as possible.
- Use mascara in the outer corners of the eyes.
- Widen the space between the brows by plucking. Extend the brows with a brow pencil line at the ends

Hope this post was helpful and stay tune for the next set of eyes

My Style #3 - A pop of Coral

I love colors like these, so i decided to mix them all together which got this outfit as result.
The blouse would be tucked into the trouser.
I choose a coral lipstick just to add a little pop of color to the entire outfit instead of accessories.
What do you think about this outfit? Do the colors look great together?
Comment below and let me know

The art of waxing

Waxing is a great alternative to shaving if you have hair you’re uncomfortable with
Waxing is better because it removes the hair from the roots while when you shave you just cut the hair, so two hours later, you can see the hair there.
Waxing, on the other hand, not only can last up to a month, but it’s also much more permanent and over time it thins the hair so less hair will grow back. Waxing also exfoliates the skin and leave it feeling silky and smooth.

How Often to Wax
If you’ve shaven recently, wait five days. And though the time does vary between waxes, depending on how quickly or coarsely the hair grows back. People should wait three to four weeks between waxing.
The Pain Factor, what we most fear of
Waxing is uncomfortable because the hair is being pulled all the way out. If the roots are not pulled out, the discomfort is minimal but the results are also minimal. The discomfort is only felt at the time of waxing and stops immediately after.
What I can recommend is that when they are going to wax of the hair, make sure to relax your body. The more relaxed your body is the less painful it will be (own experience)
Post-Wax Treatment
Although the pain does fade away as soon as the wax is over, the area can remain sensitive. So after waxing it's recommended not to use any scrubs for the next 48 hours and not to expose the area to direct sun for at least 24 hours. To treat redness or swelling, apply a small amount of cortisone cream from the drugstore.
Maintenance
After the tenderness has subsided, it's good to exfoliate in the shower to remove dead skin so the pores don't become clogged, causing ingrown hairs and bumps.
Types of waxing
Bikini vs. Brazilian
A Brazilian wax removes more hair than a bikini wax. Whereas a bikini focuses on the front and sides (what would be visible in a swimsuit), the Brazilian removes the front, sides, back and everything in between, often only leaving a strip of hair in the front or none at all. Most of the time, you can leave your underwear on during a standard bikini wax, but for a Brazilian, you’ll have to be without your panties.
Why Brazilian?
Some reasons for having a Brazilian wax include cleanliness, convenience and, of course, sexiness. When you sit at the beach or pool in your bathing suit  you don't have to worry for hair peeking out.
Does It Hurt More?
Some women can't do the bikini, but they are OK with the eyebrow. Others can do the bikini, but they can't stand to wax their legs. Everyone is different. But it does hurt less the longer you do it. Eventually the hair becomes weak, so it doesn't hurt at all.

This is Curacao, your next destination

Hi Dolls,
This is a non beauty or fashion related post but I can't help to share it.
When you are proud of being someone, or living somewhere or having something you can't help but share it with the world.
Well, I'm PROUD to say that I'm a "yu di Korsou" which literary means "child of Curacao" despite it's problems which I know every country have.
As you dolls already know I'm from this beautiful Island called Curacao, so I wanted to share this awesome video of my "dushi" Island Curacao
I also made a post in August about a boat trip I made. If you haven't seen it yet make sure to check it out to see more pictures of my Island --> click here

Hope you guys enjoyed this video as much as I did and more post and pictures of Curacao will be posted now and then.

The right tool for the right job: Part I

Hi Dolls,
You can have the best eyeshadow money can buy, the world's most luxurious foundation, a bronzer straight from the cosmetic bag of a supermodel. But if you don't have the right tools to apply them, their benefits will be lost.
What do I mean with the "right" tools?
"Brushes should be soft and feel gentle on the skin, but also have substance so the product can be moved to the surface of your skin. If you dip a brush in shadow or blush and the color falls off before you make it to your face, that's a bad brush" - experts say.

So to make you stop wondering Chique and Glam has it all under covered for you.
This next few weeks I will discuss with you all the brushes you need to achieve the best make up result.

I wear PINK for US

As you all know October is the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Polyvore has this contest going on were you can create a piece telling why you wear pink.
Mine was: "I wear pink for US"
With Us I mean, woman. We should all be together and support each other and never ever lose hope.

Here is a poem for encouragement for all of US

H.O.P.E
Hope is a candle in the night
Hope is a long respite

Hope is a feather
Once lifted, it'll only get higher

Hope is an oasis in a desert
Hope is a diamond in the dirt

Hope is everywhere
Yet hope is scarcely there

Hope is the dream of better days
Hope is the passion ablaze

Hope is beautiful
And hope is tranquil

Hope is there for everyone
Hope is an asset that all has in abundance

Bigger/Fuller Lips

Hi Dolls,
By using lipstick and lip gloss, you can get the lips you've always wanted without any  plastic surgery!

One of the ways to get fuller lips is by applying a small amount of concealer to hide the creases and fine lines.
Follow up with a light application of powder to lock the concealer in.
Use a lip liner close to your natural lip color to line your lips. To make them appear fuller, you can line just outside the edge of the lips. If you leave the corners very lightly touched and line only the center part prominently, an illusion of thicker lips will be created.
Gloss reflects light and gives an illusion of plump lips. Pick two colours of gloss. Keep the darker one as the base colour and use the lighter one for highlighting the fleshy part in the centre. When light will reflect more from this part, it will give a fuller look to your lips.
Another way for obtaining fuller/bigger lips is by exfoliating them
Exfoliation of the lips causes slight irritation and naturally increases blood flow to the area, making the lips swell beautifully.
After you brush your teeth, use a soft-bristle toothbrush and a gentle face scrub to exfoliate your lips. Be careful not to be too harsh, else you’ll end up scraping off skin. Do this for five minutes so that all the dead skin is removed, and lips feel warm and tingly. Rinse and then apply a Vitamin E containing lip balm of your choice in generous amounts.
And of course there are always those lip plumbers

But on the other hand if you're lucky enough to have full lips but want to make them appear smaller, make sure not to use lip gloss as this will tend to enhance them. By using deep, matte colors you can reduce their impact and allow people to focus on the rest of your face.

The art of face primers

Face primer are one of the first products used when it comes to make up. It helps prepare your skin for a foundation application. By using a primer it helps your make up stay in place and for a longer time then without a primer, thus it prevents it from creasing also.
A primer is also appropriate for those with very dry and sensitive skin as it nourishes the skin and calms inflammations.

After you apply your primer let it set onto your skin BEFORE putting on foundation. That’s one of the biggest mistakes we do sometimes which afterwards makes the foundation looks oily.
You also don't need allot, just a pee size amount can go all the way. So don't put on allot of primer and voila, your face is ready for foundation

Hope this post was informative
