I always miss out on the 1+1 sales different drugstore have here in the Netherlands. I'm either working, have schoolstuff to do or find out when the stores are already closed. I don't mind cause I save some money but this sale is probably the best way to buy make up (either necessities or products to test out). Anyways back to the good stuffs. I bought 6 items, two lip glosses, a foundation, a highlighter and a brow pencil...

FLORMAR MAKE UP HAUL AND REVIEW
I didn't new about this make up brand until when I recently took a trip to Amsterdam.
When I saw the store I knew I had to go in and take a look (and of course buy some things to test out)
First thing I noticed is their wide variety of product. They have everything, from make up brushes, foundations to nail polish remover.
Second thing I always look at when i enter a new store is the price. Flormar is super affordable which made me even more happy (good excuse to buy more than one thing).

ETOS BRAND MAKE UP REMOVER WIPES
I'm one of those girls who doesn't always take off my make up properly. I'm either super tired or just super lazy to use my face wash so I just use water and that's it! (super bad, I know).
Even though It's not meant to use as a replacement I think make up remover wipes are the best for lazy people like me.
I'm currently using the ETOS brand make up remover in 'kalmerend' and 'verfrissend'.
I don't really see the difference between the Refreshing (verfrissend) one and the Sedative (kalmerende) one.
Both are alcohol free. They don't dry my skin or leave it red and remove my make up for 99.9 %. They are also really moist so it's doesn't feel rough or dry on the skin.
One pack contains 25 make up wipes and it retails for €1.79

MINI BEAUTY HAUL DUSSELDORF
Last Saturday I went on an one day trip to Dusseldorf to visit the Christmas market. It was super crowded but also super fun. It wasn't my intention to buy anything beauty related or visit stores we already have here in The Netherlands. But who was I kidding? When we were "done" walking around I went to their local drugstore. To my surprise almost everything are regularly half the price compared to The Netherlands.

Haul: Sephora 3 for 10 Euro
Hi dolls,
This is the first time I get to experience this crazy sale from Sephora where you can get 3 Sephora brand make up for just 10 Euro!
I wasn't that happy with the selection they had. They didn't had any blushes (Or at least in my Sephora)and the variety of lipsticks/lip gloss wasn't that big either, but Oh well, I couldn't complain much since it was an awesome deal. Even though the variaty wasn't that big I still bought allot, I think!
Here's what I bought:
From Left to Right
Sephora Lipstick:
Sephora Lip gloss: 13 Reflex Miami Pink - sheer pink opalescent shimmer
Sephora Jumbo Liner: 08 Gold
Sephora Long Lasting Eyeliner: 14 Fancy Violet - metallic amethyst
Sephora Long Lasting Eyeliner: 10 Glitter Khaki - olive brown with gold and green glitter
Sephora Lip gloss: 22 Shimmery Deep Rose - muted rose with gold shimmer
Sephora Lip gloss: 11 Shiny Pin-up Pink - bright fuchsia pink shine
Sephora color lip last: (can't find the name of it)
Sephora Highlighting Compact Powder: Rose Pink

I Paid only € 30
A saving of € 87,50
Happy with my purchases
Have a nice weekend

Review: Oh! Gosh
I love discovering new products and of course trying them out.
This time it was GOSH Cosmetics.
I've never heard about this brand before and wasn't planning to test it out either when I saw it, but since I was looking for a brow gel and GOSH was the only make up brand at the store who had one at that time I decided to give it a try.
Since they had buy one get one free ( YES, I LOVE SALE ) I got myself the Defining Brow Gel and The Click'N Conceal

Never say never
Hey Dolls,
I'm super super super exited. Can you guess why????
Remember I posted in August i'm going to do the no buy challenge for 3 months?
Well I can say I did it, besides the nail polishes I bought in August.
I never knew I would accomplish this no buy project.
It was super hard, I'm not going to lie. When I go out I was avoiding places where I know I would buy anything make up related. But at the end it's all about being strong and don't fall for temptation.
What I learn from this is to be more conscious when it comes to buying make up.
For example; if I know I have a black eyeliner i really don't need to get another one until I finish the one I already have etc. But also appreciate what I already have and by actually using them not only once or twice.
Now that I accomplish this no buy project i really don't feel the urge to go all out with make up like I did before or buy just to buy. I now take time and ask my self: "do I really need this?" like in the movie shopaholic.
P.S.: I didn't even buy clothes (WOW , I'm super impressed and proud of myself)

Choosing the right eye makeup: wide-set eyes
Determining eye shape is just as important as choosing the right colors for your coloring. Depending on the shape of your eyes you should choose different colors and ways of applying eye makeup. Learn how to determine eye shape and apply eye makeup for each eye shape.
- Apply the lighter eyeshadow to the outer two-thirds of the lid from lashline to browbone.
- Use eyeliner to draw a very thin line from inner to outer corners on both upper and lower lids.
- Pencil eyebrows a little closer to the nose. Don't extend eyebrows out at the ends
Check my previous post: Close-set eyes

Choosing the right eye makeup: close-set eyes
Determining eye shape is just as important as choosing the right colors for your coloring. Depending on the shape of your eyes you should choose different colors and ways of applying eye makeup. Learn how to determine eye shape and apply eye makeup for each eye shape these upcoming days.
Close-set eyes
If the space between the inner corners of your eyes is shorter than the width of one eye, you have close-set eyes. So your aim is to make your eyes look further apart. To create the illusion of width, you should emphasize the outer corners
- Apply light eye shadow from the inner corner of your eye to the middle of your eyelid (from lashes to brow bone) to widen the space between the eyes. Keep small highlight color in the inner corner of the eye.
- Extend the darker eye shadow to the outer corner of your eye from lashline to brow bone.
- Use the most intense color of eye shadow in the outer corner.
- Use eyeliner to draw a very thin line along the upper eyelashes. To bring the attention to the outer edge of the eye thus making your eyes appear further apart, apply eyeliner so that it becomes thicker near the outer corner of your eyes (both top and bottom). You should draw the line as close to the lashes as possible.
- Use mascara in the outer corners of the eyes.
- Widen the space between the brows by plucking. Extend the brows with a brow pencil line at the ends
Hope this post was helpful and stay tune for the next set of eyes

The right tool for the right job: Part I
You can have the best eyeshadow money can buy, the world's most luxurious foundation, a bronzer straight from the cosmetic bag of a supermodel. But if you don't have the right tools to apply them, their benefits will be lost.
What do I mean with the "right" tools?
"Brushes should be soft and feel gentle on the skin, but also have substance so the product can be moved to the surface of your skin. If you dip a brush in shadow or blush and the color falls off before you make it to your face, that's a bad brush" - experts say.
So to make you stop wondering Chique and Glam has it all under covered for you.
This next few weeks I will discuss with you all the brushes you need to achieve the best make up result.
