Bright Crystal

We all have our signature scent and so do I
As you can already guess it's the Versace: Bright Crystal.
I've been using this perfume since 2007 and immediately fell in love with it!
You can easily wear this perfume everyday due to it's fresh scent.
This perfume give you a kind of mature and elegance impression.
Crystal Bright can be qualified as clean, floral en feminine.
- Packaging is really nice. As you can see it has a big "Crystal" on top which can give your room a super nice elegant, classic but at the same time girly feeling to it. Great for displaying.
- As for price the 1 oz is around $50 and the 1.7 oz aroun $68

This is definitely something to try
Any thought about this perfume? Have you tried it already? So yes?, let me know what you think about it
P.S.: I need to purchase a new bottle since I used all of mine

Salon Perfect Nails

Have you ever wonder how to achieve does perfect salon looking nails without paying to much for it?
Well here are the How To achieve salon perfect nails

1. First, remove any existing nail polish completely so your nails are clean and dry; don't throw away the cotton pad/ball with polish remover on it just yet.
  • 2. Moisturize your hands. This prevents stray nail polish from adhering to your skin--unfortunately, it also prevents it from adhering to your nail, so once you've moisturized, swipe the nail polish remover over the nails again to remove excess oil.
    3. Next, apply the base coat. Go with the cheapest stuff for this, and a very thin layer is fine; it just protects your nails against color bleeding (Orange nails after hot pink polish is not sexy).
    4. Apply a thin layer of nail polish over the base coat. Placing the brush about half-way down your nail, push downward (which fans the bristles out) until you almost touch your nail bed. Then reverse and sweep upward. Apply to each nail.
    5. Next, apply a second coat to the nails. Start by sweeping the brush horizontally across the top of your nails--this essentially creates a blunt edge of polish and helps prevent chipping. If you accidentally paint some skin, that's ok; we'll take it off in a second.
    6. After the horizontal sweep, repeat Step 4 to each nail, paying attention to creating a smooth even surface. Don't apply more than two coats; it takes much longer to dry and often bubbles.
    7. Once your nails look perfect, wait for a few minutes and then go over your hands with the polish remover soaked Qtip, removing any excess smudges or paint.

    8. Using either your base coat or a separate clear top coat, apply a very thin layer to the top of your nails. Presto! You're gorgeous.

  • Tips:
    - Always allow your nails enough time to dry completely!
    - Be careful not to overpaint--if you make a mistake, take the polish completely off and start again, otherwise it gets lumpy

    My Style #2

    Hi dolls,

Today I have another My Style for you.
It's a black and nude color dress which I combined with some blue accessories for a pop of color.
As I mentioned in my first My Style post I don't play by the rules of fashion.
I paired this outfit with some ballet flats, easy to walk on for those long long shopping days, a cute hat and of course a cross body bag, which I adore.
I would wear something like this at the mall.

Hope you guys enjoy this post. Comment below and let me know what you think

    Fact or a myth?

    Hey dolls,
Have you ever wonder of some things are really true...? Well don't wait anymore
Maybe your questions will be answered right now.
Here are some of the most questions that has to be cleared up!
Are they really what you thought or are the just another myth?

    1. Soap is bad for your skin.
Older formulas contained animal fats and vegetable oils. Newer soaps are formulated to be milder and some contain moisturizers that don't dry out your skin. Clean skin is better than dirty skin.

    2. Shaving your legs will make your hair grow in thicker.
You have as many hairs as is genetically determined, regardless of whether you shave them. However, shaving can make hairs appear "stubbier" and perhaps thicker.

    3. Drinking a lot of water leads to beautiful skin.
While drinking water is necessary for our bodies, too much will only result in bloating and too many trips to the bathroom.

    4. Split ends can be repaired.
The only way to rid of split ends is to cut them off and prevent them in the future with good hair care.

    5. Dry skin causes wrinkles.
Not true. Most wrinkles are caused from the sun.

    6. You can wash acne and pimples away.
Scrubbing too vigorously will increase oil production and only aggravate the condition.

    7. The sun clears up blemishes.
While the sun will temporarily dry out pimples, it interferes with healthy skin cells. This can cause a worse breakout a couple days after sun exposure.

    8. Stick to one brand and line of products.
This beauty myth was probably put out by cosmetic manufacturers who want to keep customers loyal to their brand.

    9. You don't need to use sunscreen on a cloudy day.
The sun's UV rays penetrate clouds and can still damage your skin.

    10. Natural ingredients are non-allergenic.
Whether it's a natural or chemical ingredient, if your allergic to it, you'll see a reaction.

    11. Chocolate and greasy foods cause acne.
No one food has been proven to cause breakouts. If you find a correlation, quit eating that particular food.

    12. You can shrink the pores on your face.
Your pore size is genetically determined. Pores may appear larger by bacteria and dead skin cells. Retin-A and alpa hydroxys are designed to break up these materials and bring the pores back to their original appearance.

    13. Rinsing your hair in cold water will make it shiny.
False. Your hair will not shine any more than if you rinsed it in warm water.

Have some of your questions been answered? Hope you like this

    Fashion: My style #1

    Hi Dolls,

Since I still don't have the "time" or a person to take pictures of my outfits I decided to make kind of every week a set for you guys on how my style looks like or may look like.
This will give you a brief about my taste in fashion!
I'm a girl who doesn't play by the rules of fashion. I'm not that kind of girl who like to be all matchy. I just put on whatever I want. Not that I would go crazy and dress in the weirdest pieces or with the weirdest color combination.
Here is my first outfit for you guys. It's very simple but fun at the same time! I would wear something like this for a shopping day, a date at the movies, just for a walk in the city etc.
Hope you guys enjoy this post,
    Will keep you posted

I thought I was going to wait forever

    Happy Dolls,

Thursday I went do to some shopping with a friend. I told myself I'm not going to buy anything since I was on my No Buy project, but then we saw this minty nail polish we were both looking for so we were like "we need to get this". So that's how it started, and yes, I broke my promise, but oh well. They were things I've wanted for quite a long time now.
After that we went to DA ( it's like Walgreen's) and there they were, O.P.I. nail polishes. I got super exited cause finally there's a store here in Curacao that will carry this brand.
I've been wanting to get the O.P.I. Shatter nail polish for such a long time now and finally got them in my hands! Along with some other O.P.I., Revlon and a Milani nail polish.

    What I got:
Milani Neon in Dude Blue #505
    Revlon Minted #85
    Revlon Electric Pink #210
    Revlon Sunshine Sparkle #089
    O.P.I. Step Right Up!
    O.P.I. DS Opulence
    Shatter by O.P.I. Silver
    Shatter by O.P.I.  Navy

    Monday Inspiration - Selena Gomez

Hi Dolls, this weeks inspiration is all bout Selena Gomez.
Selena Gomez a young teen girl trying to find her place in this world.
I'm always been super curious to know what clothing Selena wears at events, for example; Grammy Awards etc...
From her hair, her make up till her clothes she always seem to be "perfect". "Never" dramatic, always settled down, just the way I like.
